Shelfari THE Social Network for Readers

This social network site could really drive Long Tail purchases of the bookshelves of "friends", plus it provides an automatic Amazon Associates payday for active users of the network.

Shelfari could fit well with the concepts of a NewMedia publishing system - For example, Langdon Morris' new book Permanent Innovation is selfpublished through LuLu, but is searchable and listable on Shelfari - very powerful way to get author's works noticed down the Long Tail.
